History

Building on over 75 years of excellence, we continue to innovate and provide the highest quality automotive parts to our valued clients.

Katayama Manufacturing's legacy began in 1947, founded by the late Kakuji Katayama as Japan High Pressure Flexible Pipe Mfg. Co., Ltd. Over the following decade, the company evolved into Katayama Kogyo Co. Ltd., initiating the start of our company and many enduring partnerships.

The inaugural product debuted as an automotive exhaust flexible tube, marking a modest yet pivotal starting point. Since then, we have consistently broadened our offerings, gradually incorporating various automotive exterior components like door sashes and moldings into our portfolio.

Under the stewardship of Masayuki Katayama, the third-generation family president, the Katayama brand has evolved into a global manufacturing group. Today, we proudly commemorates over seventy-five years of being a trusted automotive parts supplier.
